EHS management for construction site and industrial plant

Lamb Weston

We supported the construction of Lamb Weston’s industrial plant in the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina, providing comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management services throughout the entire construction phase.

Our team worked in close coordination with multiple contractors and the company’s corporate EHS team, implementing a preventive, participatory approach aligned with the highest international standards in the food and industrial sectors.

Key actions included:

  • Development and monitoring of the Construction Safety Plan
  • Contractor access control and legal documentation management
  • Regular internal audits and safety inspections
  • Recording and monitoring of deviations and incidents
  • Ongoing training and awareness for personnel
  • Coordination of environmental actions
  • Management reports and periodic reporting

As a result of the work performed, we received two special recognitions from Lamb Weston at a global level:

  • One for the management of the EHS System, highlighting its comprehensive, preventive, and continuous improvement approach.
  • Another for the Integrated Waste Management Program, based on Circular Economy principles, which reduced impacts, optimized resource use, and created synergies with local stakeholders.

Thanks to this work, high levels of regulatory compliance and prevention were maintained throughout the project, ensuring safe working conditions, minimizing environmental impacts, and exceeding the standards typically expected for projects of this type.

ISO 9001 Certification

Costa Esmeralda

We led the implementation and certification of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 for the Costa Esmeralda gated community, located in the Partido de La Costa.

The project covered the assessment of key processes, the definition of responsibilities, the standardization of procedures, and the documentation required to ensure traceability and continuous improvement of the community’s administrative, operational, and general services activities.

The work was carried out in close collaboration with the organization’s different areas to ensure effective system integration and a smooth transition toward a quality-driven culture, focused on meeting owners’ requirements and strengthening the institution.

The process concluded with the external audit and the achievement of certification, making Costa Esmeralda one of the first organizations of its kind to obtain quality certification under international standards.

Contingency Plan

Industrial Park Gral Savio

We developed the Contingency Plan for the Mar del Plata–Batán Industrial Park, in coordination with the Park’s Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Commission. The work included the identification of industrial-environment-specific risks, the definition of response protocols for different types of emergencies (fires, spills, utility outages, among others), and the development of a comprehensive contingency response plan.

As part of the process, tabletop crisis simulations were conducted to assess roles, response times, and inter-institutional coordination, strengthening the Park’s preparedness for critical situations.

This work helped improve collective response capacity, consolidate a culture of prevention, and strengthen internal and external communication channels in the event of undesired incidents.

EHS Management & Certifications

Tecnopesca de Argentina

We supported Tecnopesca Argentina, a leading reference in the naval industry in Mar del Plata, in the development and implementation of an integrated management strategy across three key areas: Occupational Health and Safety; Sustainability, Environment, and Circular Economy; and Certifiable Management Systems.

In the area of Occupational Health and Safety, we implemented the management system aligned with regulatory requirements and focused on risk prevention in complex industrial environments, with an emphasis on strengthening the shipyard’s preventive culture.

We developed the Sustainability Master Plan as a strategic tool for managing environmental, social, and economic impacts, and provided ongoing technical support to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

We led the implementation and certification of the Quality Management System under ISO 9001, and we are currently implementing ISO 14001 environmental management into the already certified system, and advancing toward a more efficient and sustainable management model.

This coordinated and cross-functional approach reinforces the shipyard’s commitment to continuous improvement, operational safety, and respect for people, profits,  and planet.

EHS Management

POLO 226

We supported POLO 226, a logistics and industrial sector company based in Mar del Plata, in strengthening its Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety management.

We developed HS preventive management tools aimed at ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel. We implemented risk matrices, continuous training programs, safe operating procedures, periodic inspections with deviation tracking, and the development of emergency and evacuation plans. This work is integrated into day-to-day operations to build a strong and active preventive culture.

We supported the company in aligning its practices with environmental regulatory requirements, including waste management, environmental documentation required by local authorities, and the design of strategies aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of its activities.

This technical, close, and systematic approach made it possible to strengthen the company’s sustainability pillars and move toward an increasingly conscious and responsible management model.

HS Management

AutHogar

We supported Authogar, a leading company in the retail of home appliances and household goods, in strengthening its Occupational Health and Safety management system.

One of the core pillars of the work is continuous staff training, through theoretical and practical sessions aimed at strengthening preventive awareness, the proper use of personal protective equipment, and appropriate response to risk situations. The activities focus on critical tasks, such as product handling, warehouse operations, customer service, and evacuation.

Management tools are developed, such as:

  • Risk matrix by area
  • Safe operating procedures
  • Update of the emergency and evacuation plan
  • Safety inspections and monitoring of working conditions
  • Technical assistance in regulatory compliance and mandatory documentation

This approach not only improves working conditions, but also actively engages the Authogar team in building a strong and sustainable safety culture.
